Today during an inspirational NSANZ Speaker Cafe we talking about using video within the body of an email. Here goes the leading options that I know about.

I first started using Soapbox by Wistia in beta some months ago and love it, then found out about Loom which is just nicer! It provides wonderful screen capture recording, giving you the option of having your face shown at the same time. See quick demo video below, which is recorded with Loom as an example. I also demonstrate how to use the Gmail extension by CloudHQ  to record then send a video from within the body of an email.

There is really nothing not to like about Loom, except that Soapbox by Wistia has a wonderful call to action option at the end of the video. So you can say click here for …… and direct traffic to any other site or landing page.

Then today I just heard about BombBomb which looks impressive indeed, yet not cheap so I will stay with the Gmail extension by CloudHQ which works well and is FREE. See some more of their free extensions here CloudHQ. Of course if you are in the dark ages and still use outlook for your emails, then maybe you will have to pay more and buy BombBomb.
